First day of School

Today was my first day of class. It went well, I love my instructor. For the most part the other students in the class are great as well. There is however one lady who I think I am going to struggle with. She is a school teacher, she taught for 16 years and all the sudden decided to go into nursing. That is all fine and dandy but She is having a hard time giving up control of the classroom. She is often talking over the instructor and making false claims of information that the instructor quickly corrects.

Other than that one lady I think the course is going to be wonderful. I already have an assignment other than just regular reading. I have give a presentation on Myocardial Infarction's, Congestive Heart Failure and Hypertension. Basically Heart Attacks. Everyone was given some disease for their presentation. It will be interesting to learn about this subject for me because my Dad has had a few run ins this these problems.

I am really hoping that I enjoy the course and that I am able to continue on and get my RN. WHOOHOO for me and finally getting an education I can use.

Back in the saddle again.

Wow, it has been ages since I have blogged at all. It seems to be the thing to do so here I am at work with nothing to do but write. I guess I will start with the update on me and my girls.

Bailey turned 3 on June 15th but she is still very tiny for her age. She is very articulate and loves to color on everything, usually with sharpie markers that she can find when none else can. She is very into the imagination playing. She always has a baby that she is taking care of. She loves to sing and is often singing the "ABC's" to Baby Xander.

Laira will turn 5 in October and is anxiously anticipating her Birthday ever since Bailey had one. She is too smart for her own good and often gets herself into trouble. She is still trying to understand why she isnt the boss, and why I am . Somedays its a big stuggle. She loves to play with her sister and cousin but sometimes has a hard time when they follow her everywhere she goes. She loves to draw and has made some great works of art. She is also very good at writing her name. She loves school and begs to go back to daycare.

Denae, Where for me to start. I was laid off recently and took it as a blessing and a hint and decided to take the nessesary steps to go back to school . So I took the GED (I don't know what I was so afraid of for so long) and I will start school on Tuesday. I will be getting my CNA certification and then will hopefully continue on to get my RN.

We moved back in with my parents which is a blessing and curse. But we have a great place to live and so I try really hard to keep positive about it.

I work part time for my cousin at his store in the mall. I swore I would never work at the mall again but here I am .. I actually really enjoy my job. It allows me to work and gives me a small break from the girls. It will also be a perfect oportunity for study time after school starts.
